This afternoon we had a lovely workshop with Nicola from the Lowry in Salford. She shared examples of Lowry's work with the children and they had a go at mixing colours to create their own dull Lowry shades. The children enjoyed painting and later on had a go at using graphite to shade and sketch. It was a very messy but very fun afternoon! One of the children actually said "this is the best day ever!"
‘We are saddened to confirm the departure of our Headteacher, Mr. McCoy, who left Sherdley Primary School at the end of the Spring Term. From the Summer Term, Mrs. Bennett will be acting as Head. With this in mind and as you can appreciate, many of our policies have Mr. McCoy's name on, these will be updated to Mrs. Bennett.
