When we arrived we removed our shoes. We were taught to write the Arabic alphabet. It is very different to our English alphabet, but we showed resilience and were able to write our names.
‘We are saddened to confirm the departure of our Headteacher, Mr. McCoy, who left Sherdley Primary School at the end of the Spring Term. From the Summer Term, Mrs. Bennett will be acting as Head. With this in mind and as you can appreciate, many of our policies have Mr. McCoy's name on, these will be updated to Mrs. Bennett.
