This year we have made a commitment to achieving The Wellbeing Award for Schools. We believe that we prioritise children's wellbeing at our school and are working hard to develop this for staff too. There are lots of positive actions to report including our Wellbeing Warriors - a dedicated group of children who are able to support their peers, Wellbeing Wednesdays for staff - opportunities to bring us together, reconnect, notice and share a moment, the Sherdley Pastoral Team and their commitment to supporting children, staff and parents with their emotional wellbeing.
‘We are saddened to confirm the departure of our Headteacher, Mr. McCoy, who left Sherdley Primary School at the end of the Spring Term. From the Summer Term, Mrs. Bennett will be acting as Head. With this in mind and as you can appreciate, many of our policies have Mr. McCoy's name on, these will be updated to Mrs. Bennett.
