Science - Sound

Lesson: Science

Class: 4W Year: 2023 - 2024

In 4W we started our new science topic by exploring how sound is made when objects vibrate.

We put rice on tambourines and tapped the skin to see what happened. 

We also hit a tuning fork on to the table then placed it into a bowl of water.

The children loved seeing the splashy results!

Policies and Website

‘We are saddened to confirm the departure of our Headteacher, Mr. McCoy, who left Sherdley Primary School at the end of the Spring Term. From the Summer Term, Mrs. Bennett will be acting as Head. With this in mind and as you can appreciate, many of our policies have Mr. McCoy's name on, these will be updated to Mrs. Bennett.
