Mad About Pumpkins!

Class: Pre-School Year: 2023 - 2024

Over the past few weeks Pre-School have been learning all about pumpkins.  We have scooped out the inside and discussed what it felt like.  We have been picking up the different sized pumpkins and talked about their weight - we found that the largest one was definitely the heaviest.  We have made a Jack O Lantern which we lit today whilst we ate our chocolate pumpkins.  Finally on Monday we made pumpkin soup and used the blender to see how the soup changed from lumpy to smooth.  We even went onto to taste the pumpkin soup which some of us found delicious and some of us did not!

Policies and Website

‘We are saddened to confirm the departure of our Headteacher, Mr. McCoy, who left Sherdley Primary School at the end of the Spring Term. From the Summer Term, Mrs. Bennett will be acting as Head. With this in mind and as you can appreciate, many of our policies have Mr. McCoy's name on, these will be updated to Mrs. Bennett.
