Information for children starting Pre-School in September 2023-24.
When do I start Pre-School?
Home visits will commence on Monday 4th September for three days until Wednesday 6th September.
On Thursday 7th September the children who currently attend our Pre-School will start their allocated session (either a morning session or a 30 hour session).
The children who are new to our Pre-School have been invited to attend a 'Stay and Play' session with their parents on this day (Wednesday 7th September). The times for these sessions are as follows:
9.00am until 10.00am
10.30am until 11.30am
12.15pm until 1.15pm
1.45pm until 2.45pm
On Friday 8th September they will attend a two hour session. These sessions will take place at:
8.30am until 10.30am or
12.15pm until 2.15pm
(Please refer to your letter for your allocated times)
From Monday 11th September all children will attend Pre-School for either their morning session or 30 hour session. The times are as follows:
Morning Sessions are 8.30am – 11.30am
30 Hour Sessions are 8.30am – 2.30pm (wrap around care is available until 3.15pm)
What do I need to bring?
A book bag that I bring to Pre-School every day (these can be purchased from the school office for £6.60).
A change of clothes in a named drawstring bag which stays in Pre-School all year.
A water bottle (named).
A pair of wellies that are left on our welly rack (named).
What do I need to wear?
Pre-School Uniform is as follows:
Black/Navy jogging bottom or leggings.
A pale blue polo shirt.
A royal blue V-necked pullover or royal blue V-necked cardigan.
Grey, white or black socks.
Black shoes with Velcro.

For PE - the children can wear pumps or trainers on PE day.
