![]() | Kevin Harker - Chair of Governors - Co-opted Governor | I am Vice Principal of The Sutton Academy and a proud member of the governing body of Sherdley Primary. I believe in the importance of education and the impact it has on children's life chances. I have the highest expectations for all in everything that we do to ensure a calm, meaningful and happy environment for students and staff to thrive in. |
![]() | Cathey Briars - Vice Chair of Governors - Co-opted Governor | As a co-opted governor, I am keen to ensure that the voice, aspirations and priorities of the parents of Sherdley pupils are a key part of school decision making at the most strategic level. My background as a teacher, and subsequent career supporting and writing about parental mental health are probably why I was elected to the role - but far more useful are the experiences I live every day raising two inquisitive, exhausting and terrifyingly unpredictable children! |
![]() | Kirsty Farrelly - Parent Governor | As a mum of four young children I am passionate about helping to ensure our school provides the best environment to allow all children to fulfil their potential within a supportive and nurturing setting. Professionally I am a Chartered Accountant and enjoy running my own business. This affords me the flexibility to work around our busy family life but essentially provides the opportunity to become fully involved in school life. I am delighted to take on the role of Governors and enjoy being a member of the Governing Body. I look forward to continuing to work with all members of the Sherdley community to help to provide the best whole school experience for the pupils of Sherdley. |
