Welcome to 1OC Class Page

Miss Dickinson (Tues-Fri) and Mrs Cripps (Mon-Tues) are the class teachers. Mrs Gaffney is our class LSA and Mrs Lund will also be in our class every day.

Other adults who may be in our class are Mrs Schreiber and Mrs Lyon.

PE

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, children should come to school wearing PE kit. Please make sure any extra layers (jumpers, jackets etc) have clearly been labelled with the child’s name.

Reading

We encourage reading to be done every day at home. Books can be changed for home, on Tuesdays and Fridays. Please send them into school in book bags and click ‘complete’ on Go Read. We will check Go Read each day for any comments about reading done at home. This can be any book, not just one from school.

Spellings

A group of particular words will be sent home each half term to be practised. This can be done in any way e.g. writing (on lines), typing, using a squirty bottle of water, magnetic letters, cutting letters from magazines/newspapers, drawing the word and decorating it etc.
