Autumn Term Attendance

As a whole school, a lot of children had issues with attendance during the second part of Autumn Term with a particularly nasty tummy bug causing a lot of 2 days absences as parents followed health advice.

However, this is a new term and every child has a chance to start over and accrue 100% attendance for the Spring term!

In the Autumn Term our overall class attendance was an average of 94.56% - which is below the 96% mark of good attendance.

The good news is that every single attendance this term can increase that score, and that is what we want to achieve.

We currently have 10 children with average attendance of over 98%, meaning they have reached GOLD level of attendance so far. WELL Done if one of them is you!

There are 6 children with attendance at SILVER, meaning they are over 96% but not yet at 98% and over.

However, we also have 14 children on attendance below 95.99%, meaning they are BRONZE and need to try to improve this term.

The amount of new learning in Year 2  is HUGE and if you are absent you miss it and may find it more difficult to catch up and meet expectations for Year 2.

Our Autumn attendance shows:

8 children are GOLD  [above 98% attendance]

  6 children are SILVER

15 children are BRONZE    [below 96% attendance]

To improve your attendance and reach 'Silver' and then 'Gold' it is in school on time! Your percentage attendance increases every day that you come into school; so if you are not yet at Gold you can achieve it by the end of the year if you come into school whenever you are able to.
