Welcome to Sherdley Primary School

It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to Sherdley Primary School, our Sherdley family, where our commitment to nurturing the next generation of young people, thinkers, leaders and compassionate citizens is at the heart of everything we do. As the Acting Headteacher, I am proud to lead a community where each child is valued, respected, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

We believe that education is a partnership between school and our families. We are committed to working closely with you to ensure your child’s success and well-being is nurtured. Our aim is to guide every pupil to develop their confidence, be caring and responsible young adults, ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities of their future. Our work is underpinned by our 5 school values: Family, Resilience, Challenge, Potential and Aspiration. We use these values alongside our Vision statement: Growing together, respecting each other, to build a school community that is welcoming and inclusive for all.

Through a broad and balanced curriculum, rich with creativity and critical thinking, we encourage students to discover their passions, develop resilience, and become lifelong learners. We set high expectations and  continually strive to raise standards by providing stimulating learning opportunities and experiences that make learning enjoyable Our dedicated staff is committed to providing a high standard of education and to supporting each child on their unique journey.

I look forward to working together with you and your children as we embark on this exciting journey of learning and growth. Thank you for being a part of the Sherdley family. Together, we can achieve great things.
